1. What is the AOE Raid?

The AOE Raid is a custom group raid on Unique-Ps built around Area of Effect (AOE) weapons. Your party clears multiple waves of NPCs across several spots and is rewarded with unique raid loot and powerful chests.

  • Designed for up to 5 players per party.
  • Uses a custom overlay showing wave, timers and NPCs left per spot.
  • Features three difficulties: Novice, Medium and Hard.

Each completion rewards players with raid drops and a difficulty-based raid key that can be used on a chest for additional rewards.

2. Requirements & AOE weapons

To keep the raid balanced and to avoid leeching, there are strict requirements:

  • You must own an AOE weapon to create an AOE Raid party.
  • You must own an AOE weapon to be invited into an AOE Raid party.
  • Only players with an AOE weapon are shown in the invite list in the lobby.

Recommended:

  • Your best AOE weapon (melee / range / mage).
  • Strong end-game gear for your combat style.
  • Plenty of supplies (food, potions, overloads, etc.).

3. Lobby & party setup

All AOE Raids start in a dedicated AOE Raid Lobby area.

  • Teleport to the AOE Raid Lobby using your teleports.
  • Use the AOE Raid interface to create or join a party.
  • Only players inside the lobby can see and receive raid invites.

Creating a party

  • Click the Create party button on the AOE Raid interface.
  • You must have an AOE weapon or the creation will be blocked.
  • Once created, you become the party leader.

Inviting players

  • The left side of the interface shows an invite list with nearby players.
  • Only players who:
    • are in the AOE Raid Lobby, and
    • own an AOE weapon, and
    • are not already in an AOE party
    will appear in this list.
  • Click a name to send an invite.

Accepting or declining invites

When a player is invited, they will see a popup dialogue:

  • Accept Invite – joins the AOE Raid party if:
    • They are in the AOE Raid Lobby.
    • They have an AOE weapon.
    • The party is not full (max 5 players).
  • Decline Invite – closes the popup and clears the pending invitation.

4. Waves, spots & interface

Once the leader starts the raid, your party is moved into the AOE Raid instance. The raid is built around clearing NPCs in multiple spots over several waves.

A custom overlay is displayed showing:

  • Current wave number.
  • Next wave timer (countdown between waves).
  • Up to 5 spots with:
    • Spot X: Y NPCs left while active.
    • cleared when a spot has 0 NPCs remaining.

Wave flow

  • Each wave spawns NPCs across one or more spots.
  • Your party clears all NPCs in the active spots.
  • When a wave is cleared, the overlay shows:
    • Wave N cleared, and
    • a countdown: Next wave in 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1.
  • After the countdown, the next wave starts automatically.

If all party members die, the raid ends and you are teleported out without completion rewards.

5. Difficulties & party scaling

The AOE Raid has three difficulties, affecting NPC stats, rewards and chest keys:

  • Novice – entry-level; introduces you to the raid and Chic set.
  • Medium – stronger foes with Mystic Mage rewards.
  • Hard – hardest version; focuses on orb stacks and large token amounts.

Party size & damage boost

The raid applies a party damage bonus depending on how many members are in your group:

  • 1 player – 0% bonus
  • 2 players – around 6% bonus
  • 3 players – around 13% bonus
  • 4 players – around 19% bonus
  • 5 players – around 25% bonus (maximum)

This bonus is automatically applied while you are inside the AOE Raid instance.

Parties are limited to 5 players. Once a party has 5 members, no new invites can be sent and no further players can join.

6. Raid drop tables

When you complete the raid, each party member receives:

  • 1x raid key matching the chosen difficulty.
  • A roll on that difficulty's raid drop table.

Below are the main rewards and their approximate rates. Exact internal chances may vary slightly, but this gives a clear overview of what to expect.

7. Raid chests & key rewards

After finishing the raid, each player also receives a raid key which can be used on one of the AOE Raid chests:

  • Novice → Novice Raid Chest
  • Medium → Medium Raid Chest
  • Hard → Hard Raid Chest

Base chest rewards

All three chests share the same guaranteed base reward:

  • Always: 1B Tokens between 1,000 and 5,000 per chest.

Extra rare raid item chance

On top of the base tokens, each chest has a chance to give an extra item from that difficulty's raid drop table again:

Chest Base reward Extra raid item chance
Novice Raid Chest 1,000 – 5,000x 1B Tokens 1 / 25 chance for an extra Novice raid drop
Medium Raid Chest 1,000 – 5,000x 1B Tokens 1 / 35 chance for an extra Medium raid drop
Hard Raid Chest 1,000 – 5,000x 1B Tokens 1 / 50 chance for an extra Hard raid drop

Chest rolls are completely separate from the raid completion roll, so it is possible to receive multiple high-value items from a single successful run (raid drop + chest reward).

8. Tips & FAQ

Recommended setups

  • Bring your best AOE weapon.
  • Use BIS gear for your combat style (melee / range / mage).
  • For Hard mode, bring strong defensive gear and plenty of supplies.

Party tips

  • Run with 3–5 players to benefit from the party damage bonus.
  • Assign players to different spots so waves clear faster.
  • Watch the countdown between waves to reposition early.

FAQ

Q: Can I join without an AOE weapon?
A: No. Both the party leader and invited members must have an AOE weapon. Players without one will not appear in the invite list and cannot accept invites.

Q: Do drop rates increase with more players?
A: The drop tables are fixed, but a larger party with the damage bonus can clear faster and farm more raids per hour.

Q: Why can I not invite a specific player?
A: They might not be in the AOE Raid Lobby, might not have an AOE weapon, or your party is already full (5/5).
